“The” Lloyd Davis is well-known in London circles for creating, with his 200 best friends, the Tuttle Club which was pretty much the closest thing London has ever seen to Silicon Valley tech culture. But it’s only one of about fifty three fascinating facets of this mercurial master of mysteries. Lloyd will tell us stories. He may show us some pictures. There may even be some thinking about the nature of community and, dare I say it, society.

Lloyd Davis is a social artist and master community builder. He has been blogging and podcasting since 2004. With a diverse background that includes theatre, information management and public service regulation he has acquired a unique, in-depth and practical understanding of the social web and building rich relationships online and off. Having founded London’s highly influential Tuttle Club which regularly attracts the UK’s brightest social media thinkers and doers, Lloyd writes, speaks and consults about these uses of social technology. He has been Social Artist in Residence at the University of London’s Centre for Creative Collaboration since 2010 and is currently exploring the life of an itinerant knowledge worker, travelling and working around the UK with the help of his online social network.
